TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT & ANYANKOFO

Total Hip Replacement & Anyankofo is a Danish/Ghanaian super-group known for its energetic and unique live concerts. The band navigates playfully from intoxicating reggae-rhythms through soulful highlife. The project was launched in full force with the release of the album “Any-ankofo” featuring legends such as Pat Thomas, Kwame Yeboah and Rocky Dawuni. 2022-24 has been explosive years for the band seeing an extensive release tour in Ghana and throughout Europe with more than 120 shows and thousands of listeners. Both album and live-shows were critically acclaimed with good reviews in magazines and radio (RIDDIM, Songlines, Cosmo WDR). This culminated with succesful performances at legendary festivals such as Bout Du Monde (FR) and Reggae Jam (DE). 2025 has been the year of their comeback, marked by an extensive tour of 35 gigs across 8 countries and the release of 2 singles. Their song ‘Obrumankuma’ even went viral on social media in Ghana.
